Storylines Inc. is seeking applicants for The World’s Best Job! The role of Chief Experience Scout is a six-month contract, involving sourcing exceptional experiences for the Storylines’ communities at sea. It is a travelling position with flexible working hours and key responsibilities, which include the exploration of amazing and beautiful countries, cities , their cultures and discovering all that they have to offer. You’ll be required to report back on your adventures to the Storylines headquarters in London (and the rest of the world) via daily social media posts, blog, photo and video diaries, video updates and ongoing media interviews. On offer is a unique opportunity to scout for amazing experiences, for the Storylines’ communities to enjoy.
Being the official Storylines Chief Experience Scout and travelling the world is a pretty unique benefit, moreover the successful candidate will also be paid a total package of up to US $100,000 for the six-month contract. Included in the package are return airfares from your nearest capital city (in your home country) to the Storylines Headquarters in London, as well as accommodation and transport on your adventures on the road. You will also receive travel insurance for the contract period, a laptop computer and a digital camera. The six-month contract commences 1st September 2018.
The Storylines vessels will visit more than 30 port of destinations per year and roam the globe continuously, with a full circumnavigation taking 3 years. To prepare for the maiden voyage in 2019, you will visit major harbours cities and their surroundings around the world. Moreover, you will select unique locations in collaboration with the team and in accordance with the community’s wish-list. You will be travelling on-board cruise ships with our partners whenever possible and will use air and land-based modes of transportation when necessary.

Up to 12 candidates will be invited to London, United Kingdom for an interview weekend from the 8th to the 10th June 2018. So, if you want The World’s Best Job, you’ll need to be available to travel to Europe for the final interview of the selection process. You’ll also need to be available to start the job on the 1st September 2018.
Storylines Inc. will select up to 10 candidates. Visitors of www.storylines.com will have the chance to select two Wild Card candidates, who will also participate in the final interview selection process.
